What’s going on family! My name is AJ Anderson and I’m the creator of Bluddy Rose. I am a passionate creative based in Atlanta, Ga. Dedicated to my practiced media in photography, literature, and fashion design, my work is unique to my testimony, made with intention and curiosity. I graduated from Georgia State University in December of 2025 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Art. My very existence revolves around art, being made by my Creator, being born to a band member/music producer/guitarist dad and a profound writer and soul-train dancing mom. I have found that there are so many ways to express oneself through art and I yearn to continuously exceed the conventional expectations put on artists.

The name Bluddy Rose stems from the various challenges I’ve had to face throughout my life at a young age. Not knowing where or how to healthily express myself, I began fashion designing in high school with some close friends and when asked if there was a symbol that accurately represented who I was and wanted to become as an artist, a bloody rose was the first thing that came to mind. I am very aware of the common stigmas when mentioning blood either biologically and associatively, but my goal is not to promote anything evil, and/or related to violence as that goes against my morals, values, and knowings. In fact, my life-driven mission is to do the exact opposite, touching on themes such as Love, Pain, Identity, Spirituality, Fashion and other ideas that I frequently observe in my life.

By definition, blood sustains biological life, being universally recognized as a symbol of life, energy, and the soul, only visible when the flesh is punctured. The rose is world-widely known for its representation of beauty and love. Bluddy Rose, being purposely misspelled, can be defined as a symbol of love for the idea of life, the awareness in emotion, and the driving force to carry on living life to the best of our abilities, despite the challenges we encounter. Bluddy Rose is not only a symbol, but a lifestyle that I foresee myself living day-by-day.
